Our goal is to confirm the value of this relationship by growing and submitting three carefully considered projects from Elestor, Storengy, and Beyonder to the Innovation Fund instrument. With their strong potential for “climate neutrality” and innovation and their current Horizon 2020 support, these projects are prime examples of excellence in research and innovation.
1. Extend the Innovation Pipeline: Sustain and expand the momentum of European innovation by transitioning early-stage technological concepts into fully mature, market-ready solutions.
2. Improve Global Competitiveness: Enhance the global competitiveness of European industries by accelerating the development and deployment of innovative solutions.
3. Achieve Climate Neutrality: Focus on scaling up projects with significant potential to contribute to Europe’s climate neutrality goals.
4. Select and Submit Key Projects: Demonstrate proof of concept by scaling and submitting three key Horizon 2020 projects from Beyonder (Norway), Storengy (France), and Elestor (Netherlands) to the Innovation Fund for deployment.
5. Support Strategic Alignment: To optimise impact and funding opportunities, make sure that Horizon 2020 initiatives are strategically aligned with the objectives and standards of the ETS Innovation Fund.
