CLERENS has strong expertise in both Horizon 2020/Europe and the Innovation Fund as it currently manages multiple projects under Horizon and has submitted several proposals for Horizon Calls, some of which have received funding. CLERENS has been leading the development of large-scale proposals for the Innovation Fund since its inception as a result of the EU ETS’s Phase IV.

Key sectors include power systems, RES, hydrogen and green buildings. The company has a strong expertise in supporting Horizon 2020/Europe consortia in their exploitation activities, by providing them guidance and tools to define their exploitation ambitions and road to market.

Thanks to the participation of its Brussels hub and the involvement of proposal-preparation professionals (with direct experience in IF elaboration), ZABALA will have a key role in the project activities related to both IF proposal writing, strategy definition, policy briefing and networking activities.

It supports the deployment of energy storage to support the cost-effective transition to a resilient, climate-neutral, and secure energy system. The Association actively represents storage stakeholders’ interests on 8 Horizon Europe projects and also represents energy storage industrial and R&I interests within H2IF. EASE will be also valuable as communication and dissemination leader and will guarantee the attraction of many potential stakeholders across the EU thanks to consolidated large networks.

With 70 years of experience in exploring and exploiting the subsoil, it is working to transform its storage facilities to accommodate 100% renewable gases and is mobilising its skills to develop hydrogen storage infrastructures. Its local roots enable Storengy to take concrete action on environmental, economic and social issues, for the benefit of local communities. Storengy also applies its expertise to industrial and energy storage projects in France and abroad.

Beyonder’s overal goal is to produce sustainable batteries using sustainable battery material and processes and contribute to electrification of the transport sector, especially the hard to abate industry. Beyonder has an advanced lab and an Innovation line for production of cells for demonstrators. Beyonder has also a 10 000 m2 building ready for installation of equipment for a small-scale production/pilot-line production. Beyonder’s first product is ready for order, currently produced in cooperation with partners in Asia until Beyonder has production capacity up running in cooperation with partners.
